2026 TRDOR Premium didn't come with Key Card

Check again, there’s a secret key in the keycard as well.

Read it again.
If the battery in the keycard dies there is in fact a key in the keycard. He’s referring to the key in the fob

key in the fob is obvious (i guess it's obvious) therefore thought he is referring to the card key blade. Anyway I like having no keys, just wallet

Two hundred and fifty dollars is a lot easier to replace than an eight hundred dollar fob.If you lose it, food for thought.

At my local dealership? They pull the key card and use it to drive the vehicles. That's typically while they're not in the truck?
It's for me, it's worth it, because I always have my wallet on me. The truck locks after it's parked, and I don't want to carry around my keys or fob.

Just picked up my new 2026 TRDOR in Heritage Blue this last Saturday and I looked everywhere and could not find a key card. I asked the dealer about it and they said they don't all come with them. If it did, it would be on the window sticker or listed on the VIN breakout. I didn't see anything like that listed, so I'm assuming it just didn't come with one.

Is it worth the $250?

My 2026 Trailhunter came with the key card, but it's not listed on the window sticker. I don't use it, but kept it in my wallet. I use the key fob since it has my other keys on it. You can't do that with a key card. However, if it's in your wallet, you don't have to worry about brining your keys from the house. I can't see it being worth more than 200 bucks though.

Keep mine in my wallet.. I’ve never used the fob,, I think it’s pretty cool.

What do you do with your house keys etc.?

Yale keyless entry locks on my house doors, so I don’t carry keys, either.

My SR came with the key card, Yours should have come with it.

My 2024 Sport came with a key card. There was nothing on the window sticker about it. I use it all the time, in fact I've had to replace the battery already.

Yeah, it's worth it, but your truck came with it.

I have a Limited that came with the key card. I keep it in my wallet since it's the size of credit card. Don't carry any keys anymore, my house door is touch code no key there either. There is 2 things different from fob to key card: 1) you can't remote start from the key card 2) If the battery in the key card goes bad, you can't open the the door, on the fob there is a secret key that slides out and you use that to open the door. I also downloaded the virtual key to the Toyo phone application as a backup. Sometimes if I'm outside without my wallet and I can use my phone to open the door and start the truck (starting the truck from the phone is tricky and takes a few attempts to get to start).

There is a slide out physical key in the card you can open and unlock the door with

I saw this thread the other day, and am currently purchasing an OR Premium... i noticed that it says its "key card compatible" but doesn't say anything about whether or not i actually get one. I'm not too worried about it personally but wanted to add that I saw that note as OP figures out what to do.
