The supercharged 5.2 is called the Predator.I'm confused. Who is talking about a movie? The past like 10 posts have been about mouting bicycles. But most importantly, what does Ford have to do with Predator?
I like the latest version, not cringe to me (Iād maybe go down a wheel size). Earlier ones, yeah,Went through many phases with my 4Runner before finally finding the right look. It definitely showed which era Iām still stuck in. This may have some influence in what I do with my Tacoma. Itāll definitely be unique.

Sold the Spinners because they had too much wheel balance problems, and sold the 24ās because of how bad potholes are in HawaiI. 20ās to me are kind of the best all around size, tons of wheel options, and plenty of tire choices. Itās kind of the middle ground between a street and an off-road look. The 20x10 Fuels and LT275/55R20 Ridge Grapplers I currently have on the 4Runner checks all the boxes for me; comfortable and quiet on the road, good traction in the mud and rain, and reasonable amount of sidewall to protect against potholes and curbs. It may be the same kind of setup I go with on the Tacoma; Just need to find time to swap the wheels from the 4Runner to the Tacoma to see how far 20x10 -18 wheels stick out on the 4th Genās.I like the latest version, not cringe to me (Iād maybe go down a wheel size). Earlier ones, yeah,.
I think there is a reason why the Tacoma and 4Runner are the number 1 and 2 best selling vehicles in Hawaii. Likely because with the amount of potholes we have here, driving most places is like driving through a war zone. They fill potholes with some kind of asphalt that when it rains immediately disintegrates and ends up ripping even more road with it. We even hold the record for being the number 2 state in the country for potholes. Not a fan of big wheels but you do you brother.
However, I feel like with Hawaiis climate there shouldn't be any excuse for potholes.
I feel like some folks on this thread are making fun of others and folks like me mostly making fun of myself and a little bit of making fun of others but itās all in good fun to meMan. I donāt know how to feel about this thread.
Brand new to owning a Tacoma and wanting to do some tasteful changes (like seat covers because of my toddler) but also getting dunked on because I also own a Wrangler Rubicon where the only ānon stockā thing on it is wheels which are the same factory size and width.
lol just taking it on the chin.
