Bro is winning participation trophies at “car shows” for ruining his interior.

I'm confused. Who is talking about a movie? The past like 10 posts have been about mouting bicycles. But most importantly, what does Ford have to do with Predator?
The supercharged 5.2 is called the Predator.

Went through many phases with my 4Runner before finally finding the right look. It definitely showed which era I’m still stuck in. This may have some influence in what I do with my Tacoma. It’ll definitely be unique.

I like the latest version, not cringe to me (I‘d maybe go down a wheel size). Earlier ones, yeah, 😆.

Ok guys, I made a change partially due to this thread. I too don’t like cheesy mods but when I first got my truck after waiting out the 2nd and 3rd gens (which I’m not a fan of and could not sit in properly) I was overly jubilant.
My useful mods are: added hood shocks, TRD front skid plate, screen protector, stick on window vents/rain guards (don’t like the “in channel” ones). The only one that’s really visible is the rain guards, it rains a lot here and I use them regularly.

The one I got rid of
. the old school TRD colours in the grill. Honestly they matched well with my Solar Octane truck, but yeah I have seen the light. 😆

Sold the Spinners because they had too much wheel balance problems, and sold the 24’s because of how bad potholes are in HawaiI. 20’s to me are kind of the best all around size, tons of wheel options, and plenty of tire choices. It’s kind of the middle ground between a street and an off-road look. The 20x10 Fuels and LT275/55R20 Ridge Grapplers I currently have on the 4Runner checks all the boxes for me; comfortable and quiet on the road, good traction in the mud and rain, and reasonable amount of sidewall to protect against potholes and curbs. It may be the same kind of setup I go with on the Tacoma; Just need to find time to swap the wheels from the 4Runner to the Tacoma to see how far 20x10 -18 wheels stick out on the 4th Gen’s.

Not a fan of big wheels but you do you brother.

However, I feel like with Hawaiis climate there shouldn't be any excuse for potholes.

I think there is a reason why the Tacoma and 4Runner are the number 1 and 2 best selling vehicles in Hawaii. Likely because with the amount of potholes we have here, driving most places is like driving through a war zone. They fill potholes with some kind of asphalt that when it rains immediately disintegrates and ends up ripping even more road with it. We even hold the record for being the number 2 state in the country for potholes.

Man. I don’t know how to feel about this thread.

Brand new to owning a Tacoma and wanting to do some tasteful changes (like seat covers because of my toddler) but also getting dunked on because I also own a Wrangler Rubicon where the only “non stock” thing on it is wheels which are the same factory size and width.

lol just taking it on the chin.

I feel like some folks on this thread are making fun of others and folks like me mostly making fun of myself and a little bit of making fun of others but it’s all in good fun to me :)

Also a first time Tacoma owner here, and in learning curve mode although I share simple tidbits when I can
welcome!
