Toyota Brings the Buzz with Honeycomb and Hot Honey Colors for 2027 TRD Pro Models

PLANO, Texas (July 28, 2026) — Toyota is expanding its TRD Pro color palette for 2027 with the introduction of a new Honeycomb exterior color for Tundra, Sequoia and Tacoma, along with a slightly different shade, Hot Honey, for the 4Runner.

I like it much better than the toothpaste color they had for 2026. It's a little reminiscent of a school bus or a county truck, though. Black roof and black fender flares definitely help the overall appearance.

Love it, saw the pics in my Inbox this morning with the Toyota press release email.

Reminds me of Tiger Eye Pearl, the unobtainium color of the 2024 Integra Type S. I settled for a 2023 6MT in Apex Blue Pearl, but still have FOMO.

These pumpkin orange trucks will be fabulous to see! They’re going to need to use the squash scent car deodorizer.

It is missing the hood badges, but it looks like the 4Runner has them.

I like it, but I'm not sure that I like it enough to buy one. I need to see it in the wild.
