275/70R18 KO3's do NOT fit on a 2024 Trailhunter with Canadian mudflats

Just throwing this out there. Just went to replace my 265/70R18 factory tires with 275/70R18 KO3's and they rub heavily on the mud flaps through turns. Tire shop was decent enough to let me downsize after they had installed them on the truck. Going back to the factory size in the KO3's.

What wheel are you running? Offset matters too; if you have wheels that have less offset than the +55mm offset you run the risk of rubbing as well.

My TRD Pro rubbed with the stock tires off the lot. Changed them as soon as I got home.

Tufskinz. Ark. Rokblokz. Rekgen.
Ran that size stock +25 and running that size now with 1.5" lift on +40.

Totally get it! I was just mostly saying for folks reading this in the future. I ran that same wheel with 275/70r18 on stock SR5 suspension which is even lower than yours. No rubbing, no problems.

275 fit ok but only after I changed the caster a little. It was rubbing here. Still haven’t been able to locate the part number for the little piece yet.

Don't have a part number for it, but thats the crash brace cover. Pull those two pins and there's a big chunk of steel behind it that unbolts. Ark also makes a cover for when people remove the brace so there isn't a gaping hole there afterwards.

Ah ya, those are something like +20 or 25, significantly more poke (and as such more scrub radius and more likely to rub on mud flaps).

I just replaced the stock tires on my TRD Pro with 265/70 R18 K03s in D load rating. I think it looks a lot better than the stock Goodyear Wranglers. As an added benefit my MPG has improved slightly. Most people go with wider tires but I didn't want that.

Looks great! I’d welcome the added fuel economy but the 10-ply are pretty heavy. Not holding my breath

Mine are 8 ply. So that helped a little. Nice to see another Saskatchewan owner in here. I'm in S'toon.

Did you upgrade your spare also? I’m curious if the BFG will fit.

No I haven't done that yet. Took the cheap way out on that so far.
