How's those blind spots? I'm going to be towing a camper near the same length two weeks from now through Calgary, the foothills, and mountains and I'm having a hell of a time trying to find confirmed fitting universal tow mirrors but don't want to tow without themWe went on our first trip since picking our camper up last month. It was about an hour and a half each way through some hills and the truck did great. I need to adjust my hitch up a few holes to account for bed weight (we had firewood and some gear in it so that things are good and level, but the power was there and the brake control was great. My dad shot a little video of us hitting the highway. These trucks can tow well!
Honestly not too bad. This trailer is a narrower model so it’s not a ton wider than the truck. My BSM also works fairly well for the trailer so I didn’t have any moments where I felt like I was in jeopardy of merging over on somebody or anything like that. How's those blind spots? Which roof rack and light bar do you have?
Hows the ride with no load?I have a 24 TRD Sport 4X4 with the towing package. I pull a 21 foot Winnebago Minnie with a leveling hitch but still had too much sag. I discovered these Timbren bump stops. Three bolt install after slightly lifting the rear end with a floor jack. Totally solved the sag issue for less than $300.00. Picture shows the difference between the factory stops and the Timbren. Timbren's ride about one inch above the axle with no weight in the bed, so it doesn't change the ride when not hauling. Highly recommend them!

No difference. The bump stops sit about an inch above the axle when there is no load.Hows the ride with no load?
Moved lots in our beautiful campsite at the first of the season this weekend,
It was a hell of a struggle to get the jacks up and break the tires free of the iced up mess, lots of 4H and clutch slip lol.
Finally got her though and boy does she sag lol, although I'm sure with the proper weight distribution hitch she'd perk up a little, didn't bother as I was only moving her to the next loop.
She pulled her extremely easy, hardly any work with the clutch to get going. Braking (at low speeds) was still great too. I have the trailer brake controller but to my surprise the brakes on the actual trailer is little to none lol.
Even backing the camper in, I didn't have to give the truck any gas, just work the clutch, still lots of torque to push her back which I was really surprised with.
Camper weighs 4200lbs empty, and it's far from empty
Makes me very tempted to buy a smaller camper so I can pull her all around my beautiful province and neighboring.
Anyone else pull the camper, (much further than me preferred), interested to see just how narly that gas milage gets lol.

I have a 2025 Limited (auto and ICE). I will be towing a Winnebago Thrive 18fbs. 4700 pounds empty and we won't be loading it very much. (maybe a 1000 pounds more total at the very most) We did install a weight distribution hitch. (WDH) We had a 2 hour drive home from the dealer. It was a bit "twitchy" without the WDH esp. when tractor trailers passed. (I loved the Tacoma brake controller though-easy to stop any "twitchyness" with just a touch of the brake controller button. (But I don't want to have to drive with my finger on or near that button) I haven't "pulled" with it since I installed the WDH. The Tacoma however, pulled fine on the interstate, but there weren't really any hills of any consequence either. I installed a CURT 17510 weight distribution and sway control hitch. This is a very heavy WDH and should be enough. (I'd be interested if anyone else is using this WDH.) Anyway, I appreciated reading your towing results.Moved lots in our beautiful campsite at the first of the season this weekend,

Did you build that trailer, or is it commercial?I've been brave and brave and brave.

But my gal only weighs 1500 pounds. This truck pulls much better than the previous generation. I've tried Tow/Haul mode once and found it has too much zip, if that makes any sense.
I built it.Did you build that trailer, or is it commercial?
