I just finished installing the Aspire V2 fang lights on my Tacoma. Whole install took about 45 min, but 30 of that was getting the factory plastic pieces off and zip tying the wires out of the way.

Legitimately plug and play. Once the Fang light is in the bumper, you untwist the yellow turn signal bulb, take it out of the housing plug it into the female end of the prewired adapter, plug the other adapter end into the truck wire housing and put the bulb back in.

I finished in the dark, so pics aren't great. But will upload new pics later

Looks great! Couple of questions; Do they stay on when the headlights are on at night and if so do they provide any additional lighting without affecting oncoming drivers? Are they on with day time running lights? Can they be wired so they only come on with one of the Aux switches that are on some models like the TRD Sport?

They do stay on while the truck is on. They aren't projected, so at night they make it brighter in the immediate area in front and to the sides. Maybe 10-15feet. Like a brighter glow. I can't imagine they are affecting oncoming drivers and definitely aren't high enough or directional enough to be too bright for someone you're following.

Out of the box, these were already wired into a harness that plugs into the turn signal light bulb plug, so without significant modification, you wouldn't be able to set them to an AUX switch. There are others available on Amazon for half the price that i am sure you can wire to whatever you want to, depending on your ability.

I’m very interested in these. Thanks for sharing. Did you have to remove the bumper or grille? I can’t locate installation instructions.

No, I didn't have to remove bumper or grill. To get to the tabs that secure the factory plastic trim, I did have to jam my arms in behind the light housing and they got scratched up pretty good. So removing the bumper would make that easier, but I got it done without.

I couldnt find specific instructions either, but there are installations (with wiring) on youtube...Just skip the wiring part. This one shows the fuse placement very well.

I installed the Aspire Lights that I purchased from Cali Raised Hardest part was removing the fake vents. I have big arms and no way was I able to reach the tabs. I’ve seen forums on the lights and just about everyone who did not remove the bumper had Most of the tabs break off. I knew I was not going to reuse the vents so I decided to drill a 2” hole in the center of the vent and then open it up using a dremel I was then able to break off the tabs and remove the vents much easier then removing bumper or fender liner.
The lights were plug and play instead of using the supplied Add a Fuse I wired it to my #3 Aux switch works great
