Finished putting in Auxbeam switch panel and changing some lights around. Had a 20” BD Onyx 6 on the roof rack. It’s an amazing light. Love the color temp and full spot lenses. But no backlights. Seeing all the cool light setups with background lights drove the decision to change things around. I don’t like the Auxbeam color temp as well and get more hood glare with them. But it’s not to bad since I have a black truck.

Used Suparee Recons for scene lights. The spread isn’t as wide as I would like. But they only come in spots or fog, no scene lense available.

BD Squadron Pros for back up lights. Once again no back lights. These will probably get changed out with something with a red back light. BD needs to get the back lights on more of their lights.

What is that metal shelf on top of your fuse box. I have an acumen controller to mount in mine and looking at options.

Curious, why would you mount it to the top of your fuse box when there are better options. I saw the same thing with another post and thought to myself, what a pain in the ass that's going to be when I need to get in the fuse box.
I decided to make a custom mount and put it on top of the battery out of the way. This works for me. I hope you don't blow too many fuses, and need to get into that fuse box.
Did you print out that trim piece, or did you buy it, if that's the one for sale, i'm sure glad I didn't buy it because it doesn't fit well at all.
I ground a tiny, notch to get the wire through. And mounted it right to the factory trim piece, it looks good and functions the same.

The fuse box mount is Overland Express I think. Drill the fuse box, put your bolts in with lots of silicone to make sure it’s sealed up.

I searched and searched for a custom mount for the Auxbeam in the engine bay. Just nothing available.
I saw your battery mount before I did mine and to be honest I’ve had to deal with batteries more than fuses in years past. The only fuse I’ve blown so far was for an aux switch with to much amp draw on it. Hence the switch panel. The fuses are still pretty easy to get to.
The switch itself is in a caliraised piece. I thought the fit was decent and at a casual glance looks factory. It was a struggle to get it snapped in place.

Yeah, I looked for a mount as well and many videos of people mounting the fuse box. I finally decided to make my own mount out of a piece of aluminum threshold that was recycled. Works for me, that's a nice thing about this group. What works for me doesn't have to work for you and everybody can get ideas

What ditch light brackets are you using? I noticed your ditch lights are larger (therefore probably heavier) than what most go for, and curious if you have any vibration coming from them while driving? I’m dealing with this right now with mine and trying to find a more robust solution. Sorry for being off topic

I'm using CBI ditch light brackets with a six inch auxbeam light.
They are a very heavy bracket,
I only experience, minor vibration when on rough surfaces.
I believe a smaller ditch light would remedy that vibration.

Mine are caliraised ditch light brackets. I started with BD squadron pros. Then had a bigger Auxbeam light on them before moving them to the roof. I now have 4.5” Auxbeam lights on the ditch light mounts. With either set of lights on them I haven’t had any problems with them.

What fuse did you tap into? Auxbeam don't supply the low profile fuse splitter so I'm stuck waiting on Amazon but in the meantime I'd love to find out what fuse you used instead of me crawling through the fusebox lol.

The fuse box holder is from Overland Equipped and this is a link to a blank plate for a GEN 4 Tacoma.
