Thank you for the reply. I have that exact tool I used on my Honda Civic with the universal adapters. I was mainly concerned because of the electric coolant control valve on the new motors. I don't know if there is a special procedure to open/close it for refilling. Also, I don't see a radiator cap under my hood, just the coolant overflow reservoir, which does not appear to have a pressurized cap.Ive always used one of these buckets funnels that seal to the radiator cap. Fill the funnel with coolant, pull the plug on the funnel....open the petcock, let it drain while keeping the funnel topped off, and from emptying completely. You do an air free exchange of old/new fluid in the radiator. Fool proof.

I was just reading through it and it says to "switch the water control valve to injection control and warm up the engine" but does not describe how to change the mode of the valve. I would imagine you need some kind of dealership computer program to change the position of the valve manually.
Ah ok, I see. I will have to buy one when the time comes in a few months. I hope someone releases that service manual again for public purchase. I should have bought myself a copy while I still could, it is very helpful!
