What sort of gains? I imagine quite good when tuned. Also, at what point are you guys requiring 91+ rather than recommending it? I would assume once you do this?

I haven't had the truck on a dyno yet, but will at some point. Will probably have our 4R on there as it's still stock so I'm curious what kind of numbers that will put out.

The stock heat shield isn't needed for this DP. If you want the extra heat reduction, there is an optional upgraded insulated stainless thermal shield you can request.

I have a question. How robust is the flex joint in the pipe? Is there a concern that this area will separate over time with heat cool cycling? This is a really nice upgrade.

Sup Big Dawg got some questions, does the oem exhaust front pipe connect to the new downpipe using the same donut style gasket like it does from the factory, or is it a different style gasket? I see the donut gasket still on the outlet of your old downpipe in the picture. I was curious how your exhaust bolted up to the new downpipe as there doesnt seem to be a lip for the donut gasket to sit on the aft side of the downpipe outlet flange.

I dont see welded nuts on the forward side of the outlet flange of the new downpipe, so is it the oem spring bolts going from the aft side of the front exhaust pipe flange into new nuts on the forward side of the downpipe outlet flange, or is it different fasteners that are used? If not spring bolts, is there any effort made to stop the fasteners from vibrating loose such as a spring lockwasher + washer combo?

How does the downpipe connect to the turbo? Is it still with the band clamp and knock pin like oem? I see a hole on the turbo side flange that looks like the knock pin hole but wanted to confirm as the flange shapes are different between the two.

Were you provided instructions from OTT for install and final torques, or were you able to pretty much stick to the repair manual procedure from TIS and just perform applicable steps as you go? For example, the new downpipe doesnt have a stay bracket to bolt to the engine/transmission so you would just skip that step.

Downpipes make the driver feel good unless a corresponding tune is installed. Same with $$ for exhaust and for intake filters and airboxes. IE you have to void your warranty to take advantage of these mods. The only way to get warrantied power is to always travel downhill.
