I've had the Toyota bed cover on my PRO since August. My dealer had it the next day. It's been through a Pennsylvania winter and probably 50+ car washes. No problems and the low profile looks good.

I have a new 2025 non-hybrid Off Road. I just installed a bed mat and an OEM Tonneau cover. The Toyota parts site doesn't seem to be updated for 2025 fitment, yet. You therefore get warnings about, "may not fit your vehicle," when you order.

I used the 2024 fitment, and everything worked fine. I can confirm that the following parts numbers are a perfect fit for a non-hybrid 2025 Off Road with a 5 ft bed:
  • Bed mat - P/N PT90C-35240-02
  • Tonneau cover - P/N PT954-35240

are those p/n#'s for a 5ft bed or a 6ft ?

Question, when I fold mine all the way back (resting on the window) the "arms" are off by a few millimeters. If i latch both arms into place, there is a gap between the window and tonneau cover's "foam bumps". Essentially the arms are holding the cover in place from going forwards and backwards [i figured it rests on the window and the arms are just to prevent the wind in flipping it back down]. I'm worried it's putting too much stress on the arms and that specific part of the tonneau cover railing. The cover and rails are installed as per the instructions manual:

  • page 4 step (b) Before tightening, make the necessary adjustments to the rail so that is pushed forward and tight against the front bulkhead.
  • page 8, step (h) Adjust the cover until the rear seal has the rearward most fin on top of the tailgate and the second fin leaning on the edge of the tailgate

Anyone else's looks like this? Perhaps this is an intended design? [the gap is only a few mm].. I was thinking maybe my foam blocks are placed incorrectly, but the gap exists regardless of placement.

Mines also like this, and I slid it all the way back towards the tailgate so I can still use my digital rear view, it moves a bit in the wind but I don’t know why else the rods would be there if you couldn’t transport while folded up

FYI:
The OEM cover is on sale for 20% off for the July 4th holiday on Toyota Parts online. My local dealer already had a discount on the cover and with the additional 20% off I paid 850 for the hard cover.

Hey, new Tacoma owner here and found this forum and have learned a good bit about my new truck so far. After looking on here I decided on going with the OEM hard tonneau cover. It was a pretty easy install, only taking about an hour. Fit seems tight but I put a piece of weather stripping in the gap by the tailgate after seeing another forum member say that they stopped leaks by doing it.

One thing though, is that the adapters for the drain tubes are loose and will fall off easily. Has anyone had this problem and if so how did you fix it? I was thinking that I could just use electrical tape or a small hose clamp.

Anyway, thanks yall!

Can you show a pic of where you added the weather stripping to deal with leaking?
