So far:
Currently in the midst of an experiment to see if higher octane fuel helps the roughness in the 35-47 mph range. Do not believe (and not trying to provoke) yet another conversation on what octane means or the labeling of octane grades.

Last four tanks have involved road trips of 4-9h duration in a single shot with speeds running at most +10mph over signage (when traffic allowed that is) and minimal extreme acceleration. 17mph tank was loaded bed and loaded utility trailer.

Stated EPA on my trim at time of purchase was 23-24-24

Yeah, if it were close to this chart, then maybe I would not say Toyota committed fraud. Nothing like that robust 250 mile range from a tank of gas with the 2025 Trailhunter. I plan on selling this turkey ASAP. I have already contacted the fuel economy group about the fraud.

Here's my latest. I noticed a MASSIVE difference in how things appeared to be going after doing two drives >2h without shutting the vehicle off (no trailer, just lightly loaded bed on one and a loaded bed with hitch basket on the other).
Also of note, if you think you somehow gave it the wrong behaviors at the start, Dealership tech can apparently "reset TCU learning". They did this at my 5K service to see if it helped with a yo-yo point happening between 37-47mph for me. Too soon to tell if it did or is making a difference.

This is in Mid-Atlantic rolling terrain (Maryland, PA, VA) and a bit of NC. For longer drives I tend to lock in DRCC at +7mph if traffic allows.

My DTE gauge now usually reads between 328 - 342mi after fill up.

Factory General Grabber tires, TRD 18" wheels, #500 OEM mud flaps, Roll-n-Lock tonneau cover, LTD HV, front spoiler (air dam) in place. TH grille. OEM bed mat on a spray-in liner. splash screen / guard is the 2 part heavy composite set. Road trip load is likely in the +500-700lb range from 2 and 4 legged beings plus gear. Day to day load is more around + 250lb for same factors.

I'm happy with my mileage. SR5 2WD, stupid air dam removed and running premium gas. Rated at 21/26. I'm getting 26+ combined with A/C on and before I was using A/C I was getting 28+ combined. Mileage did improve with premium gas and the truck felt and sounded much better when flooring it to pass on a highway.

With the hot ass Arizona Summer...I get 21.1 MPG currently. I drive mostly highways for work commute...and I drive between 80-105mph depending on how busy the freeway is...
So Pretty good. my highest was 26.5 MPG

2024 Trailhunter. Just over 20K km (~12,500 miles). I am a light footed driver. You can tell when I towed our ~4,000 lbs camper into the wind and then with a tailwind LOL.

We just did a road trip and got 20MpG basically ever fuel up from our cross country road trip from San Francisco to Daytona Florida and back. Cruise control usually at 75 AC on. Srarted the trip at 3k miles and added 6k from the trip.

Stock tires and hybrid 18" rims with a tonneau cover. 2.25 front and 1.25 lift

There's been some MPG talk in this thread, but can the other 2024 Tacoma owners report here what kind of MPG you're getting?

I know everyone's still in the first few weeks of owning the truck, but curious if you're all seeing above or below EPA rating so far.
