It depends on the brand of the ditch light bracket. @RESQCAT reported he needed a longer bolt for proper thread engagement when he used the CaliRaisedLED Ditch Light bracket (4.76mm thick). Other brands of brackets that are thinner and don't need a longer bolt. New bolts can be purchased at any hardware or home improvement store (M8 x 30mm)

The QuickLift Elite was the first thing I ordered and installed after getting my truck. You'd think hood struts would be the norm for manufacturers.

Tried to buy these but the free shipping would not stick after visiting PayPal. Every time I got back to finishing the order at Redline the shipping charge was back and I eventually just gave up.

I might try again later, or do some more shopping to see what else is out there.
