I’ve had my 24 TRD OffRoad since January and I just feel like I’m missing something.

I just feel like the steering wheel needs to tilt up about 1 inch more.

I hit the top of my thigh as I get in and out on the bottom of the steering wheel. I will admit that I am short (5’7”) but I don’t have my seat in the highest position and I’m not sitting on a stack of books.

I have attached photos. I pulled the telescoping out all the way to see it better. The one is the steering wheel tilted to its lowest position and the other at its highest position. I feel that my driving position is pretty standard. I’m not sitting straight backed or reclined. And my reach to the pedals is comfortable.

Is anyone else seeing this as an issue with their driving position? If there is further adjustment that can be made I’d love to know.

Totally and completely agree. I don’t have a solution except to lower my seat height a bit and learn to live with it. I do wish the wheel tilted a good inch higher.

I have my seat as far back and as high as it will go and I don’t have any issues. At least not that I have noticed. Maybe I will notice it now that you brought it up.

Same. Probably design over site for us tall people with long legs. I’m just learning to get used to it.

My’25 is the same. I also noticed that the seat can go down farther but then I feel like that little old lady driving just staring at the cluster. I have my seat up quite a bit so that the hud is more in focus and visible. I too am trying to just get used to it.

I am only 5’ 10” and I can’t get my seat low enough to feel comfortable. I am almost hitting my head on the roof when I get in and don’t like the seat way back because then my arms are almost straight to reach the steering wheel but moving it closer has my knees hit the underside of the steering wheel. I have no up and down motion of the seat only forward and back and the back of the seat will lean back. I have a button that shows up and down but it just inflates the back support. I would love another inch in upward travel of the steering wheel Or the ability to lower the seat and inch or more.

You should have another lever next to the recline lever that will let you raise and lower the seat. I also have a SR5 and was able to adjust the seat to a nice position and no issues with hitting the steering wheel. Hope that helps.

Will check next time I am in the truck. From memory I have three levers. 1) forward and backwards. 2). Reclines or tips the back forward And backward. ( This is an extended cab not 4 door) 3) the up down button that just seems to inflate the back forward more support. But I will both check the manual and for more buttons.

Y’all just need to face up to the fact that you have weird shaped bodies! I kid… it would be nice if there were a bit more adjustability to the steering wheel, but personally, this truck fits me like a glove lol. I also have my seat adjusted to max height and the wheel is very close to my thighs, but that’s the driving position I prefer. It’s definitely not the easiest truck to get in and out of, and my right knee makes contact with the hard plastic on the center dash next to the wheel if I slouch when I’m driving, but It’s still a super comfortable ride if I’m comparing it to my 3rd gen, especially.
