RIGID Industries 20" SR-Series Pro lightbar in white spot/flood combo with Amber-Pro lens covers
  • requires some trimming on the oem grille, used Bulletpoint Fab's universal brackets
  • lightbar with the lens cover sits perfectly in the grille
  • true amber lens covers provides protection and modularity, can remove/add them by loosening brackets
RIGID Industries 6" SR-Series SAE fog light kit
  • perfect plug and play fitment
  • didn't opt for lens covers but there is enough space to put them on, will add on in the future
  • these are brighter than the headlights, make sure to properly angle down during install.
will be installing the full RIGID Industries suite over the next few months including: ditch lights, 40" lightbar for the roof rack, chase lights, and rock lights

do you leave that rack on the truck ?
how easy is it to remove ? reinstall ?
thanx
I leave it on. It's attached using 8 bolts in the T-slots (2 at the base of each of the vertical supports as circled in the pic below). The only situation I can think of where I'd want to remove anything would be needing to fit something in the bed that was taller than the crossbar nearest the tailgate and in that case I'd just remove the crossbar and leave the rest on. Haven't done it, but my guess is that if the 8 bolts mentioned above were loose the whole thing would slide right off the back and reinstallation would require just sliding it back into the tracks and tightening down the bolts again.

What did you had to trim on the OEM grille and how much trimming was involved?

this image is from rave offroad with a 20" baja bar, but very similar situation.

the bolts for the rigid light stick out on the side in similar way, but this actually provides some use as the light bar can be loosened without removing the grille, giving me space to remove/swap out lens covers.

Did a little walk around on the matching color TRD, this is kinda funky Toyota.. I wouldn't be super happy about that.

Got denied service at Costco for mounting the new tires because I didn’t buy them there, found a local guy running a tire shop out of his garage, he fit me in immediately after finishing up with someone else, I can definitely feel the difference between the stock tires and the new 10ply tires but they’re nice, can’t wait to try them out in 3’ of snow

2025 Tacoma Sport Hybrid
I just bought a 2025 Tacoma Sport Hybrid and this is my first post in this section. Since I started shopping for a new truck 7 months ago I have already started to watch several threads in the Tacoma4g website. I have almost 10 mods planned but that is far less than the 33 mods I did on my 3rd gen truck. To be fair, I did have some duplicate mods such as 4 sets of wheels and 4 different y-pipes. I bought the new truck out of town and when I parked it at the hotel my daughter parked her car right next to my truck. When she opened her door it happened to hit my new truck leaving a small dent and scratch. When she realized what she did she came to me sobbing and apologizing over and over. I told her that she was more important and valuable to me than a million new trucks. I would never let my relationship with her suffer because of a minor accident. I did walk away with a silent sigh in my heart. What I did today was to take off the TRD billet aluminum oil cap from my old truck and put it on my new truck. My next mod will be adding a tonneau cover. The truck looks absolutely naked without one. I was going to get one at the dealer but they were out of stock. One of the managers told me that the weathertech tonneau covers were much better quality and the seams where the covers fold into thirds don't crack under the hot Florida sun. I can't seem to find any Tacoma reviews on them. If anyone has any information on them I would appreciate it.

Got the Carista in today and tweaked several things. Turn signal length and volume, universal window roll down with the key fob, active noise cancellation in the cab, and the fake engine noise.

Sounds soooooo much better in the cab now. πŸ‘πŸΌ
