Hopefully, I can put this together without long summary. February 2025 noticed front tires wearing heavy on outside tread. For sure too much camber. Took it in for the 5000-mile check and yes dealer noticed this as well. So, they rotated back to front and took two days-two tries to align. Received the truck back and the camber is ridiculously too positive. Shown the spec and of course it is in range. This is what they gave me, and the front looked ridiculous with the pigeon toe look. Dealers started using sentences that this is what the alignment calls for. Nice picture ?

Just returned from long road trip and mileage at just over 8100. The Front tires outside edge are cut down significantly. Keep in mind these were rotated in February from the back with no excessive wear. What the dealer found was no change from alignment completed in February. So, I asked why did the tires wear significantly. No answer. They did contact Toyota and this was their recommendation. Note the significant Camber change. It steers and ride is improved.

I’ve had them open a TAS case and I opened a customer case. The simple question, if it was aligned to specification range, then why did it significantly wear the front tires. I am pushing them for tire replacement.

My co worker has a TRD Pro with the same issue.

What do people do when they install a lift kit?

Hoping to hear if anyone has had Toyota offer a fix or alignment specs yet? My 2025 Tacoma trailhunter did the exact same thing at 6k miles. All they did was blame it on my driving... 6k miles in 9 months ownership when I work from home and haven't taken it off-road, while keeping it in ECO; yeah bad driving/hotrodding. Smh.

Looks just like my PRO. When I took it back to the dealer about 1 month into ownership (like July '24), the specs weren't out for the 24's yet. Now, they want to charge $150 to get it done.

Another good reason to stay away from the dealers. They don't have a clue and charge an arm and a leg for poor service. I would take it to a good independent shop for that price.

I went to discount tire to have mine aligned after putting a new suspension on my truck (2in lift with reservoirs) and I had the same issue. I did not notice until my tires starting wearing like crazy in the front

I got super lucky with them. They took blame for it being out of spec even tho their sheet says technically it is in spec, realigned and gave me 2 brand new tires ~$700 worth. I was shocked they actually took care of me. New alignment seems to be fine now. They spend a good amount of time getting it right. The GM actually did the alignment the second time to make sure it was right

But that is odd with the Trailhunter. I would think the spec for that is different and it would only show in spec if it was right at the dealer. Weird
