I have a 24 TRD Sport 4X4 with the towing package. I pull a 21 foot Winnebago Minnie with a leveling hitch but still had too much sag. I discovered these Timbren bump stops. Three bolt install after slightly lifting the rear end with a floor jack. Totally solved the sag issue for less than $300.00. Picture shows the difference between the factory stops and the Timbren. Timbren's ride about one inch above the axle with no weight in the bed, so it doesn't change the ride when not hauling. Highly recommend them!

Chicago to Moab & back last year. Similar results to others, maybe about 12-13MPG. So basically about 200 miles of range per fill. Trailer is around 4000#.

No problems up and down the Rockies either. Only scare was slightly elevated trans temps at one point during stop-and-go traffic on I70 up grade.

I've got a Flagstaff E-Pro E19FDS on order that should be here later this month or next. I can't wait to hook it up and see how my Tacoma performs - I think it'll do great. Dry weight is around 3500 lbs.

Looking forward to seeing how it does! What trim do you have?
I've got a TRD Off Road Premium with the hybrid. I've pulled a boat, lawnmower on utility trailer, and ATV on utility trailer and so far everything has done very well. I know the camper will be a different experience due to more weight and frontal area, but it should be fine. I had a 2008 4Runner with the V8 and pulled a 24' camper that was over 5K dry and had no issues so I think this will prove to be a great combo. I expect it to be ready within the next few weeks.

Nice!!! Yeah, you shouldn’t have any problems and it sounds like you’ve done your research. And, I assume you have the TBC. The only thing we’ve noticed is some ā€˜porpoising’ when on roads that have seams, or onto bridges. Thinking about sumo springs?? Other than that the truck tows perfectly! Just stopped at a scale and got all our weights today. Enjoy!!

We picked up our new camper today. The Tacoma pulled it so well. We took the scenic route home through some very hilly and curvy areas and I never felt like the truck was struggling. I am very impressed! We will go on our first trip in about a month so now the fun part of getting it set up how we want it has started.

It’s the E19FDS model. I didn’t look at the label but it’s around 3500 lbs and 400ish tongue weight I believe. I got a Fastway E2 equalizer hitch with it and it did a great job. I’m very impressed with how the Tacoma pulled. Tow mode is beastly - I had to actively tell myself to slow down to keep it around the speed limit!
