Day 2 of ownership… so I guess this is a thing

Got my new Tacoma yesterday. We met some friends at a local micro-brewery. It was the truck’s debut. Came out to find a random “Tacoma buddy” parked next to my blue one. This is my 3rd Tacoma. I don’t recall this being a thing with my ‘96 or ‘01.

Exactly! We respect our trucks and know other Taco owners do too, so parking by them is a safety in numbers thing. I also tend to see truck of all makes parked together because truck owners value their rides more than people driving anonymous, look alike SUVs.

I wasn't sure about that myself, I'm just over a year in ownership, with about 20k miles on mine, but haven't noticed any other "Tacoma Buddies" parking next to me other than say in the last 3 weeks, I found next to my truck after coming out of the movies on two separate occasions a 24+ Tacoma sitting next to mine. Both were lifted, and looked good. But yea was wondering that myself.
