Looking for 4th-Gen Tacoma Owners to Test Mabett Products

Over the past few weeks, several of our new 4th-Gen Tacoma products have received thoughtful and constructive feedback from this community. Our retractable ratchet straps, in particular, sparked a number of useful suggestions.

These comments helped us see firsthand what Tacoma owners really want in everyday use. Since this kind of input is genuinely helpful, we’d like to invite a few Tacoma4G members to test some of our recently released products.

Important Testing Information

1. Products Will Be Shipped Directly

All testing products are currently in stock and will be shipped directly by Mabett to the selected members.

2. What Testers Need to Do

Testers should be willing to:

• Install and actually use the product
• Share honest feedback on fitment, installation, and daily use
• Provide a few installation photos or a short video if possible

3. Products Currently Available for Testing

Current testing options include:

• Hood Struts
• Windshield Sun Shade
• Floor Mats
• Seat Covers
• Retractable Ratchet Straps

The goal is honest, practical feedback—not scripted praise or positive-only comments. Please tell us what works well, what feels unclear, and what could still be improved.

How to Join

Interested owners can leave a comment below or send me a private message with your Tacoma’s:

• Tacoma year and trim
• Gas or Hybrid configuration
• Product(s) you’re interested in testing

2024 Limited Hybrid

I’ve got a ‘26 limited hybrid. I live in Minnesota so I have all the seasons to test against.

I’d love to test the ratchet straps. I’ve got an OEM trifold tonneau. I currently am renovating a house and am constantly running to big box stores to pickup flooring, trim, appliances, cabinets, etc. My current ratchet straps work, but I keep them stored in the side compartments in the side of the bed. Kid of a pain to remove them each time I use them. And like others have said on tour ratchet straps design, would be nice to have them pivot. Would make them much more usable depending on what size of an item you’re hauling.

I have name brand hood struts and floor liners already that could compare yours too as well.

DK if you have future plans to expand compatibility of your seat covers to include Xtracabs, but if so I’d be interested. I know the take rate on 2-door model Tacomas is small and you may not feel like the juice is worth the squeeze, but those of us that like and use the fold-flat passenger seat feature have very few options for seat covers and my guess is you’d get a considerable level of interest in such a product. Anyway, just throwing it out there FWIW. . . .

Definitely seat covers. There's tons of them out there at all diff prices. Would be interested to see how yours's stack up!
