I have appreciated the various 'mudflap' discussions. Last week, I received a Canadian set of OEM mudflaps and installed on Riddick, our TH. Very happy with them cosmetically. Stupid-easy installation. And look forward to seeing how they perform.

Separate note, also very happy with the bed step. Frequently in/out of the bed, that's become worth every penny. Even with a nice dealer discount compared to list, still pricey, but very happy I have it.

Are those the “mud guards” or mud flaps entirely different part no.? My TH came port installed with the mud guards, love them, barely notice they’re on there.

I also have been rocking the bed step / ordered the SXTH element rear recovery hooks with the bed step relocate bracket (so both rear points can install).

Hi,

If you've a link for the relocate bracket, I'd be interested. Between the remaining recovery point and hitch, I'm ok with losing the one recovery point. But I'd certainly like to regain it if possible. That bed step though clearly offsets the loss of '1' recovery point for me though.

As you'll find sprinkled about in other mudflap reviews, the OEM mudflaps come in different widths. I don't know what the thinking was behind the OEM US ones. Use this for the wider Canadian-spec mudflap: PK389-35R55-P1.

3 screws each. Took me ~30 minutes to install all 4. There's no rain in our forecast, so it'll probably be a while before I find out just how good they are. Of course, winter and salty roads is just around the corner :*( so there will be more than one way to assess, soon :).
