Anybody else just get this notice via Carfax?

Not Via carfax, but this is a known recall and has been out for months. I’m scheduled to have it done on Friday.

It’s an expansion of the original recall from back in February to include 2wd and 18” wheels.

They finally issued the fix? I was in for my 15K two weeks ago and they told me they were still awaiting guidance from corporate.

i got that weak sauce excuse last week as well , I take that as No Parts available yet .

In my case I went to the dealer last friday and the 1st thing they will do it’s evaluate your truck and if it doesn’t pass they will order the part and call you back when it arrives.
My Truck has TRD 18” wheels and it didn’t pass.

I noticed it in the app recently. I was not in the original recall. They expanded it on July 2.

In my case I went to the dealer last friday and the 1st thing they will do it’s evaluate your truck and if it doesn’t pass they will order the part and call you back when it arrives.
My Truck has TRD 18” wheels and it didn’t pass.

I wonder what they use for the go/no go Gauge?
