Hello, I have no advice for you but would like to tell you about my experience, and , maybe you can take some of my ideas to your benefit.
I am 83; I have had many cars and, since my 60's, Tacomas.
I have never washed them; when my wife begins refusing to ride with me, I hose the crap off with just water.
I always get silver metallic to help with the heat.

I am now 83 and have had many vehicles; after my 50s, all Tacomas.
I hardly ever wash them; I feel a good cover of mud and filth is good. When my wife starts refusing to ride with me, I wash it with a hose and no soap.
I always choose metallic silver because it keeps the truck colder.

7. there is no perfect solution to paint care that is affordable to me; I have to make the most of whatever cheap spray-on products are amiable on the market, if I can't prevent brush marks, I have to try my best to hide them; do you have a better simple spray-on product than the Turtle Wax ceramic spray in a bottle?

Also, when I park my truck in my parking lot at my complex, I rotate the position of how I park my truck. Each and every time I come home to park, I park the truck facing the opposite direction as just before. This way my truck alters between facing north and south regularly to get even sun exposure all over so the paint may gradually fade evenly all over.

Given the limitations are fixed, I cannot offer a solution. I will offer some guidance:

- The longer you use compound, the more clear coat and paint you're removing. I believe those marks are water spots. Something in the routine or services is causing those

- Limit the amount of times you access the wash. I get it: you're paying for unlimited washes. But that also invites many of the problems you're experiencing. A reduced schedule woudn't be as cost-effective, but it'd lessen the damage. It's something you have to think about

- Wash car waxes, spray on ceramics and whatever else is being used, you need to review each of those. If you're already using a spray-on ceramic, I fail to see the need for the wash car wax. If you're regularly applying both, something is off

- It can be worthwhile to spend more on a better product, one that's no more difficult to apply or remove, but will last longer. You'll have to explore and experiment

That reads like you have different and big problems to solve.

My first suggestion is get at a plan and the work so you can meet or get near the physical performance a person your age should have. The benefits will be greater than you might realize. You're a dozen years away from actual old age. You will get mental and intellectual benefits along with it. Together you can leverage them for earnings power. It's quality of life no matter what.

It reads like you should consider a different vehicle. No one should drive a vehicle they cannot really afford. On top of that, why do you need a light truck if you're so challenged? Are you doing some sort of delivery business with it too? I ask because you could pocket the cash same time you have something easier to manage. If you get something like a Mazda you'll also solve all the bizarre griping you do about Toyotas.

I have not bought any of these products yet. the Meguiar's above is supposed to erase any water marks on hood, acid marks from bird droppings and tree sap marks. Thankfully, there are no pine trees in Iowa I have to park under.

I just don't feel like laboring over a can of paste wax and an electric car buffer at least once a month as I did living in sunny California back in the 1990's. My hands are too busy taking care of a young German shepherd and cleaning my own apartment without a wife to help as it is. I realize my truck will age gracefully and one day die like me. I can only devote so much money and so many hours trying to preserve that new-truck showroom shine.

Not also my age, but my budget and Iowa weather gives limited opportunity to do things outdoors. All these paint care products I propose require specific windows in the weather. Wind, dew point, temperature and humidity must be factored in. I have never used ceramic on this truck. It's only been carnauba hot wax from the automatic tunnel. Yeah, just use some turtle wax hybrid ceramic spray and call it good. Works great.

I disagree.

62 is well before actual old age, and someone in their 60s should be able to do either side of 10 or more pushups vs be challenged to wash an automobile. I'm no spectacular or talented athlete, and even with some permanent bad problems plus chronic pain, don't find it hard to meet or beat important measures.

One of the elements I hate most starting retirement a little late is seeing so many my own age in pathetic physical and mental shape. It brings my whole country down.
