Side-by-Side: TRD Performance Exhaust vs Stock

Hey All Quick Question...Did any of you who installed this part (PT226-35241-XX) install a new exhaust gasket at the muffler/tail pipe? Or did you keep/re-use the existing gasket. FYI...my truck only has 400 miles on it. Just got the new pipe (PT226-35241-02) but install instructions say gasket is non-reusable part? Also, if anyone is interested torque is 32 ft-lbf

I was wondering the same thing , i just bought one for like 10 bucks anyways . Still waiting on it .

I don't recall my truck having a gasket there from the factory. I'll double check the tailpipe I took off but I never saw a gasket.

I didn't swap mine personally..but if there was a gasket it got reused.

Found this on another thread...see pics from hemlockz. Comments from other reports that the gasket ring stays on the muffler and is re-used. Guess I'll go with that. If for some reason it doesn't seal up right a new gasket is pretty cheap.
