Starting a general thread for all things mods done to your 4th gen! From super basic to super expensive! I picked up my underground yesterday. Ordered the TRD High flow air filter for it already as a simple start.

A lot of work on my 2026 TH (see images): CaliRaised lower control arm skids, under drivers seat moelle for attaching a fire extinguisher, and the BAK 2K tonneau. Next will be the Black Rhino Etosha 17/8.50 +20mm offset, and Nokian Outpost nAT tyres 285/70 R 17 SL. I may go to the E series Nokians at some point.

Storm come through? I was stationed at Kaneohe for 2.5 years 1970-72. I get back to the big island for diving every couple of years. Love the islands.

51,607 miles today!

Had a busy week - finally got a chance to install new shocks, springs, UCA's and Freedom Locker LED (larger red LED instead of the included blue).

Went with Ride Shocks w/ adventure tune weight range 1, Dirt King tubular UCAs, Eibach 1" non-HD rear springs and aligned the truck right after and then a few more times with Gyraline G1

Testing Ride Shocks DPA Adjusters

Current settings, Front:

• Low Speed - 7/12
• High Speed - 5/12

Rear:

• Low Speed - 2/12
• High Speed - 1/12

Ride height:

+1.5" front, +1" rear

Install & Alignment:

Pretty easy install with great instructions from Accutune/RideShocks.

Definitely make sure you have a good gear/balljoint puller. The run-of -the-mill BJ pullers are not large enough!!

For anyone interested in doing their own alignments, I can't recommend Gyraline enough. Takes about 30 seconds to a minute for a full Toe measurement. Camber is another 20-30 seconds. Only requires iPhone and their tray + app. I just take a measurement when I stop for gas - that way I don't need to worry about getting the truck perfectly level (which I hate lol)

As it sits today, 600 miles of break-in:

Experimental Designs Freedom Locker - works great but I didnt like the small, blue LED they included so I bought a larger red version on Amazon. I have 5 extras if anyone wants one

Finally feel like the rest of the truck matches how great the tune + Accessport has been. Reminds me of my Evo!

Shoutout to Cam ( CamTuning ) - Thank you again man. It's so fun to drive and the huge power increase you unlocked honestly makes me feel a lot safer when merging or passing

After 4 calls to tech support at Banks Power over the last 4 weeks and trying everything that they suggested I finally got to get my boost tubes installed. Both of the cold side adaptors fit fine and the hot side adaptor fit on the turbo connection but the intercooler adaptor just would not fit. The Banks parts were correct in their sizing so it turned out that Toyota had added some extra plastic on the intercooler side which caused the adaptor not to fit. My last hope was to heat this adaptor in the oven and try to snap it on the hot intercooler side and it worked. Even though Banks does not advertise any HP gains, AFE advertises a 10HP gain but that was not the reason for my wanting to have these boost tubes. When the 4th gen trucks came out there were many people who questioned the longevity of the turbo engines and would not buy them. These boost tubes allow for more air and cooler air to flow to the turbo which will extend their life span. There are some other benefits but longevity was my main reason.

Yeah, I've seen your posts. I had a Gladiator Rubicon, but tired of the shitty mpg and dual batteries. The aux battery is a pain to change and left me on the highway two times.
