A 2008 Toyota Corolla that I had driven for just shy of 16 years. If I get half that from my Tacoma l’ll be happy since 8 to 10 years is my goal for every vehicle I get.

Yo! the summer after I graduated high school I worked construction days and nights as a cook/busser and this was the first vehicle I ever purchased at the end of that summer. I did end up needing the rear differential replaced at one point but other than that I loved that jeep. Was actually thinking about it today on the 90 mile drive home from some dog training stuff in my Tacoma. I was young and dumb and pushed it hard, and it got me to many remote fishing areas and helped me access places I had only dreamed of at that point. I high centered on ice one time on a forest road I should not have been on that early in the season and spent an unexpected night with a friend, cold and cramped in the back! I was able to dig us out the next morning. Blasted through miles of snow after that back to pavement. All stock except tires. Telling that story makes me feel old ha! Many fond memories in that vehicle. Same year even:)
Changed careers about 10 years ago which was initially a financial setback, and since then until buying the 2024 last year I hadn’t driven anything with less than 150,000 miles on the odometer. I could have bought something sooner, but I chose to wait and I can certainly say that I really appreciate my Tacoma after all that time. And I’m using it to do things I enjoy which is great.

I had and still have a MINI Cooper S Clubman. Love it, never getting rid of it.

My wife had an Audi Q5, but we found she was driving the Tacoma so much instead we sold the Audi.

I had this 2012 Prius V for around 12 years when I lived in SoCal and gas prices were very high being used for commuting to work. My wife had a 2012 Prius C for her ride. We loved both cars and their gas mileage were about 42 and 55 mpg respectfully.

Now that I moved to central WA and recently retired, I wanted a pickup and planned for it for a few years while I waited for the Hybrid TRD Pro, on waiting lists, and I am not disappointed with my new 2024 Tacoma TRD Pro. It is my first truck.

I also upgraded my wife's car to a fully loaded 2023 RAV4 Prime which we love too. We get about 44 miles on a charge which is paid for by our solar system for the most part. Works for 95% of our usage and for longer trips, it is just an efficent hybrid getting around 40 mpg using regular gas.

Toyota has just worked for us with only simple little repairs which are mostly covered by extended coverage.

2023 Nissan Frontier Pro-4X that was loaded with all of Nissan’s options. Loved that truck all the way up to the morning the lady in the 2024 Suburban smacked into me while I was waiting at a stop light. I’ve gone back and forth between Nissan and Toyota trucks over the years - have always liked both products.

First truck, and first manual. Thought I loved my Camry, Camry has nothing on the Tacoma.
