My truck slows itself constantly especially in SoCal traffic. I have the gauge set to show when my brakes are on and it’s pretty frequently. I leave PDA on because it makes the Tacoma feel like my Tesla.

Look at your gauge to see how often your truck is braking for you.

I think cruise control will drag the brakes, and it doesn't trigger the brake light notification in the dash.

I hate the auto braking, and I have that turned off as part of the lane control feature, but I'm convinced it's still used in cruise control without notification.

I turned that function off, sometimes it will slow down but I don't want to. it makes vehicle shake and like manual transmission.

Hey guys! I got a 24 Limited and currently is 29K miles, as of right now my front break pads is still have around 70% but my read pads all gone, see attached for rear pads. This makes me and my technician confused. It should be front replace before rear one, mechanic guys said he never see this before, generally front will be replace before rear one. I didn't tow and load heavy stuff every day, just a daily commute drive. Is this normal or someone have same issues? Thanks!

When I was around 35k on my off road I had to do brakes all around, every tire. Wish I would paid attention for you what was worn first. I did make sure to look at personally so I was getting played and they were all pretty bad. Does seem weird a the only thing I can think of is the limited trim making something different. I ride cruise control 90% of time highway. Cheers
