Ditto!!I would like to comment on your question.
The Hybrids were indeed marketed intensively and were a significant brake on the Tacoma's traditional design.
Someone here said they are not visually pleasing, but my 24 Trailhunter still gets praise from strangers in parking lots.
I refused to accept the roof rack, and $1500 were discounted, and they gave it to me to take home.
The truck behaves great off-road; several folks have done videos of different trails, and no one has been disappointed.
The 8-speed transmission is almost as good as a manual, the power is 1000 more powerful than any truck out there, the snorkel is no problem, I hardly hear it, and the inside is as silent as a luxury sedan, and I can hear my music much better than my old 2016 third-gen.
Yes, it is expensive, but if you are financially ok it is not really a problem since you get a truck that, really, needs no mods to go out and have fun.
I am planning to keep mine till I croak. I love the way it handles both on the pavement and on the rocks.
I am convinced I got a bargain!
Like they say, to each his own.
All the best

Exactly!Buy what you like Period.
Wish the tank was bigger as well.Agreed. People on the internet are weird. Everywhere I go people love the truck and ask if I love it. The snorkel comments are especially weird. I thought every man loved the sounds of turbos and superchargers. Not every person is a car guy so I guess I get it. But I LOVE it! Some days after work I like to remind myself why I love my truck and I’ll roll down the window and hit the gas. But then I remember that my gas tank is small. That’s my biggest con with this truck, after that is the lack of storage.
When I had my 21 SR5 4Runner I loved it but I did want some of the features that came with the TRDPros or ORPs. Like many of you I saw the announcement of the TrailHunter and I thought it looks cool but I can’t afford it. Then a lady rear ended my 4Runner and the insurance payment was enough to get my TH.
Yep, pretty much all of us wish for a bigger gas tank and back seat, but few of us wish for a Tundra. lolWish the tank was bigger as well.
Yeah I have a solution for that. A proper water crossing vehicle with a real snorkel so my pavement princess doesn't have to get her feet wet.For the uninformed, the snorkel is for water crossing, something a “limited” pavement princess literally could not survive
Yeah, that’s a good one, 35’s or 37’sYeah I have a solution for that. A proper water crossing vehicle with a real snorkel so my pavement princess doesn't have to get her feet wet.

Holy moly, Mountain States never marks up, but only sells at MSRP, but 10 grand mark-up on a truck with a $63,000 base price?my local dealer has a $6995.00 mark up on the TH and supposedly two are sold. of course there is no way of telling if the buyer paid the markup or how much of the mark up. I thought I saw a $10,000 markup on a TH at this dealer. They also mark up the 4Runner TH/Pro the same amount.

I traded my 2024 Gladiator for a TH. I was getting tired of 12 mpg and replacing the AUX and Main battery every year. Lots of good things about the Gladiator, but look at the all the repair issues/complaints on the Gladiator forum. I was left on the highway/freeway twice because of a failed AUX battery. Off-road, the Gladiator is probably a bit better, but not by much.Yeah, that’s a good one, 35’s or 37’s
