2026 TRDOR Premium didn't come with Key Card

Just picked up my new 2026 TRDOR in Heritage Blue this last Saturday and I looked everywhere and could not find a key card. I asked the dealer about it and they said they don't all come with them. If it did, it would be on the window sticker or listed on the VIN breakout. I didn't see anything like that listed, so I'm assuming it just didn't come with one.

Is it worth the $250?

I just looked at my 2025 OR Premium sticker and it does not say "key card" on it any where. I did have something saying "smart key system on D & P doors" but that's it.
I call BS on the dealership.

hmm ya mine had the same thing listed under exterior. Maybe I need to call Toyota or another dealership and ask them

Keep mine in my wallet.. I’ve never used the fob,, I think it’s pretty cool.

Did you check in the seat back pockets? Under all seats? Rear seat storage?

In Canada for 2026 the SR5+, Off Road+, Sport+ and Premium all come with a “Digital Key with Card Key”.

I have a Limited that came with the key card. I keep it in my wallet since it's the size of credit card. Don't carry any keys anymore, my house door is touch code no key there either. There is 2 things different from fob to key card: 1) you can't remote start from the key card 2) If the battery in the key card goes bad, you can't open the the door, on the fob there is a secret key that slides out and you use that to open the door. I also downloaded the virtual key to the Toyo phone application as a backup. Sometimes if I'm outside without my wallet and I can use my phone to open the door and start the truck (starting the truck from the phone is tricky and takes a few attempts to get to start).

My Limited came with one. I keep it in the garage in case the truck is locked and I don't have my keys with me. I too feel you should contact Toyota Corporate. I feel you should have the key furnished at no charge with the purchase of the vehicle.

My TRD Sport Premium came with the card which I thought was cool, but I lock my wallet in the car while at the gym and quickly realized it didn’t make sense for me to use it. So… in my junk drawer is where it rests.

99.99% of the time I use the key card instead of the fob. I'd look for a better deal than $250, but as I no long carry keys of any sort, the price is worth it to me.

It’s standard with the Premium package. Definitely call BS on your dealership!
At first I thought the key card was gimmicky, but once it found home in my wallet it’s all I use

Check again, there’s a secret key in the keycard as well.
