Looked around and was curious if anyone on here had this with the SR?
We've done a few. They're not out there in nearly the numbers the Sport/Off-Road trims are and the number of owners looking for performance are even fewer.

But the SR tuned has the most significant increase in output due to the lower factory output. The Stage 1 calibration brings it to the full output potential of the tuned higher trims. It's quite the transformation!

Sorry if already covered but "10" pages.....

Has anyone reported fuel mileage change after doing the stage 1?🤔
Would be interested in what the highway mileage is after.
I just believe it should be better and Toyota is just holding back for 1 of many reasons 😆
I mean, when full size four door 4x4 F150s in v6 and v8 are doing as good "or" better surely something is WRONG js......

To any of those that have done the tune…. Any long term updates? Gripes or Praises? Issues? Suggestions? Which Stage?

It didn't change much...but because I'm still fresh into it, I'm probably gassing more then usual.....I'm having fun smacking on it more than before.

The tune feels like a lot of smoothing out and improved responsiveness. Earlier and better timed boost which feels nice off red lights and merging.

There's more zip but the big thing is more "driveability".

Anyone experiencing any hiccups with the hybrid tune? I really want to pull the trigger but would like some long term feedback from those who have it. Thanks

Many of our reviews and feedback on the 4G calibrations are with our retailers who are hands-on with you guys and actually doing the tuning with you.

I'd love to see more feedback here, but feel free to check out your local retailer (or other retailers, for that matter) and review their feedback as well. All of our authorized retailers can be found here with the interactive map: https://overlandtailor.com/retailer-locations/

But here are a few reviews that have been left for or retailers regarding their 2024+ Tacoma and their OTT tune:

I've seen no change in fuel economy over the last 5k miles being tuned. My lifetime average is currently just shy of 21mpg. I can see anywhere from 18-24mpg on my daily commute depending on traffic.

With that said, my F150 gets amazing fuel economy for being a bigger truck. 5.0 liter V8, tuned, 35" tires, and averaging 19mpg (lifetime average over 120k miles). Ford knows something Toyota doesn't about squeezing out fuel economy.

Or is it their negotiations with the oil companies?

No hiccups. Only smiles per mile. I would never go back to being untuned, to me it was essential.

I did the tune yesterday. I have been researching for a while and I finally made up my mind to get it done. What a difference it makes. The truck seemed heavy and sluggish…almost like it was too heavy for the motor and the transmission, well everyone knows what that’s like. Those are things I don’t feel anymore. It feels like it’s a lighter truck, very peppy and strong now. The transmission is very smooth now. I have a 25 Limited non hybrid. The sport and sport + are very peppy and gave life to the Tacoma. I’ve been playing with the Eco mode as well and I’ve noticed that it does save fuel more than the other modes. I’ve also noticed a big change in my HUD…it now displays the rpm’s along with the speed limit. I liked this truck before the tune…now I love it. It’s much more fun to drive now. Shoutout to Roberts Tuning in the Texas Panhandle! Come to find out…I know a lot of his family where I live. He comes from a well established wrestling family here and I am so pleased with his service and professional knowledge of his work.

I just had the new 1.2 version installed to replace the 1.1. A very welcomed refinement with significantly more low end torque. It feels like we took the training wheels off.
