Apply here:

https://simpletire.com/sponsorship
Bonus giveaway: Drop a comment below with a photo of your Tacoma and tell us what tires you’re currently running — size, brand, model, and what you like or dislike about them.

We’ll pick one lucky winner from the comments to receive a free set of tires from SimpleTire.
This isn’t just about the biggest build or the most followers. We want to hear from real Tacoma owners, daily drivers, trail rigs, overland setups, weekend warriors, and anyone putting their truck to work.

Currently running General Grabber HTS OEM 265/65r18. Good in the rain, but not good on a Tacoma! She deserves better. Maybe on a SUV, but my Tacoma needs some agressive all terrain tires!

Currently running BFG KM3’s. 37x12.5r17. Love that they’re super versatile and handle any off-road situation well. Don’t really like that they’re a heavier tire. That comes with the territory though.

I'd love to be an ambassador, I have plenty of rigs with aftermarket tire sizes for it, but I'm nocturnal for work so I don't have enough opportunity for pics and events to really do a company justice. So I won't bother formally applying. But I have run everything over the years from BFG KO2s to Venom powers, and Cooper cobras to Continental DWS06. Street tires, performance tires, mud terrains, all terrains, hybrids, and motorcycle tires. I like projects and variety, a deadly combo.

As far as the Tacoma is concerned, things haven't lined up quite as planned so we are still running the OEM 265/70-17 BFG trail terrains:

It will stay that way due to recent financial constraints (unless I win this giveaway). But that actually isn't necessarily a bad thing. I can't say they are a bad tire at all despite how the majority of owners feel. They are a less agressive A/T and small ones at that so they look terrible. But great traction on the street and in the wet. Decent traction off road in my loose soil. They are what I would consider passing in the snow.

If I were to win, I'd upgrade to a 285/70-17 or 285/75-17 in a more agressive A/T primarily for looks and for better snow traction. The oem trail terrains, as I stated are "passing" but for my application they could use improvement. For the average owner they will do just fine, but I don't live in town. Roads near me are low priority for clearing and due to my neighbors being primarily corn fields the snow gets especially deep due to drifts. Powering through deep snow all winter long to get to work gets unpleasant.

I’m currently shopping for new tires and am mixed about whether or not to change wheels.
Will probably try Mickey Thompson, Baja Boss A/T but may choose Toyo or Nitto. I have been talking to 4 Wheel Parts as well as spoke with Method and Mickey Thompson yesterday.

It would be better to get tires from a seller that includes puncture and damage coverage beyond the basic manufacturer warranties. I like that SimpleTire offers this. At Americas Tire and 4WP it’s an extra cost.

4WP and Americas Tire do not have road force balance machines at any of the shops in my area, despite indicating us such on some of their webpages. I would like to find an installer, if I were to either win a free set or buy through SimpleTire, that could do the specialized road force balancing work. If I get the Mickeys, they will need all the balancing help they can get.

I would prefer to stick with the stock 18” wheels on my Trailhunter, but at some point (within the next few years?) we may add a second set of wheels with Method Bead Grip. Then I can change my wheels before taking on more challenging trails as I learn more about offroading so we can get to the increasingly remote campsites. Sometimes we take our teardrop trailer; other times we just camp in the bed of the truck. With just 8900 miles on our truck, we have made a lot of trips already, but have so much to learn! We are two women in our late 50s/early 60s in Ventura, CA. I’m recently retired and have time for ambassador duties.

It’s not about speeding fast down trails for me or my wife, but safely handling gnarly, varied terrain and weather throughout the entire West Coast, across the country, and into Canada in Mexico.

Here’s our 2025 Trailhunter on an overnight trip last week to Nettle Springs in the Maricopa area off CA Hwy 33.

I was just talking about looking for a sponsorship, at oIur club CAR SHOW last weekend. I would love a working relationship with you to take my build and your brand to another level.
Currently I have build my Tacoma completely out of my own pocket and wish too chance out of the current tires I a am running. At this point I am running a set of 255/80/17, 10 ply, Yokohama Geolandar X-AT.
I have had wide tires in the past, but I have found in my neck of the woods that the tall skinny ones work better in the Eastern Washington iceand deep powder.
If I had to find one complaint it would be that I can over drive them in corners, they start to wash out.
I have been looking too upgrade my tires, but unfortunately my wife 😕 says I either need a sponsor, win the lottery, or wait until I wear the set I have now.
I would be looking for a set of
( 35x11.5x 17s ) too fit the built until I can upgrade to a set of Weld 74 portals 🤔 and a set of 37s on a set of Bead lock wheels.
I'm a member of the Test of Time car club and have introduced, The Widow, my 24 Tacoma Overlander to a whole new group of people.
Talking about the Modifications and products at the Car Shows is a great way to really show off all the products
( you're Tires and most important you're brand ) to thousands of people every year. 😯
I would completely rock your brand on my truck, at this point I have not branded the WIDOW because I've been paying for this exact opportunity

Here's my setup:
Nitto Terra Grappler G3s 285/70/r17
CaliRaised LED rock sliders
Trumgeta Premium roof rack
Bakflip MX4 Tonneau Cover

I love to get out and use my truck to go camping and go off-road! I'd love to create a partnership to help promote products that make our trucks more capable!

• Running Nitto Terra Grappler G3 in 275/70R18 SL.
• Like how quiet they are on the highway and in the best buy parking lot.
• Dislike that they're SL for some of the backwoods stuff I'm planning, but the trade off is the MPGs + I carry a 285/70R17 Pathfinder spare.
