Aside from armor plating and forcefield…I think I have all my bases covered. 🤔
It would definitely make hauling home 20 bags of mulch a PITA, but there's always this option . . . .

hold the lock button and press the unlock button twice until you see the fob blink 4x. Wake by pressing any button.

to sleep the key card fob: remove the battery. Some Toyota fobs will just “turn off” transmissions after inactivity or after being stationary for a while.
Thank you. It really sucks having to do all this, but that is the reality of it. My TH is in Austin, and it does not fit in the garage, so, I have +70K candy sitting on the driveway. The Mexican border is 190 miles away, and after they cross it it's goodbye forever. Insurance will not pay to buy a new one, but just whatever they decide it is worth when the claim is made.

Hey guys, new here. Wanted to share an idea to someone who might be interested. Anyway the first thing I did installed 41.22 relay kill switch but instead of the switch it came with I did purchased 30$ CAD fingerprint scanner with relay controll box on Aliexpress. Dont have to hide it. Works very good. So even if a thief got my keys they won't be able to start it unless replacing starter relay with original one. Fingerprint connected to constant power. It draws 50uA at idle and 150mA when active which is few seconds. Installed it not direct view but under trailer brake panel.

If you cannot garage your rig this is one of the better security ideas. ☝🏼

Another takeaway from this is to have all your additional accoutrements in your build added to the insurance policy.

Got a link for the fingerprint scanner with relay control? There are many to choose from.

Depends on the insurance.

Why does it not fit? Height? Width?

How hard is this to wire up?
I’m about to find out next week when my kits deliver. There’s two setup methods according to filgr8, I DM’d him today. It’s pretty badass and ironclad in terms of security. The only way a thief could steal a Toyota with this implemented is if they got their hands on a tow truck. But if you AirTag your rig, cops will be there before they can get the truck running on it’s own volition

Interesting - how would this compare to Ravelco

Well a physical plug with a Ravelco is pretty solid, it’s definitely something within direct view from dealership service techs unsure if that voids a warranty, whereas the fingerprint scanner method using a mix of either in-line kill switches with a removable relay and a smaller UI scanner that can basically look like nothing and will act like nothing unless it’s your fingerprint. I would think this Ravelco is more expensive net net but don’t quote me on this I’m pretty new to onboard electronics anti-theft setups.
