The Trumgeta running boards were short lived. Passenger feedback didn’t care for the height and how far they stuck out. While removing them, I found multiple rust spots already starting on the brackets and on the running board’s bolt retaining washers.

Installed Go Rhinoβ€˜s RB30 Slim running boards. These sit down and in just a bit more. Really happy with how they look. All positive passenger feedback as well.

Finished installation of Diode Dynamics SS2 2” amber driving lights with backlight (ditch lights) and SPV’s kit, Rigid SR-L Reverse Light Kit, on the ARB rear bumper.

Just need to tidy up the wires on each installation. I used two of my 2025’s Aux pigtails and the jumper.

Thanks John @SPV Parts SPV Specialty Performance Parts for helping with my kit purchase several months ago.

Another installation completed today was bed stiffeners from @CharvoniaDesign . These are a lesser footprint than most and let me retain my Charvonia D-ring billet tie downs.

I started this installation two weeks ago. What held me up from completing it was dull drill bits, a lost step bit, and discovering I needed spacers to get each of the two brackets to align with the intended spots to drill and mount rivets.

In these pics I’ve included the plates I used as spacers. They’re actually cheapie metal ties.

Appreciation to Keith at Charvonia for the quality products-they’re exquisite in my book.

Finally got an appointment to have my windshield replaced tomorrow. I first noticed it last Wednesday but had to go out of town the next day. By the time I got back it had more than tripled in size to over 30 inches long. This really stinks because it is my second Tacoma with a poor windshield from the factory. My last Tacoma had 5 cracks in the windshield during the first year and a half. The first 4 were small spider web cracks which were repairable but the last one was over 18 inches long which required a replacement. After doing some research I decided on PGW glass which worked great because I never had another crack during the last 8 years that I owned that truck. Hopefully, this replacement windshield will wear like iron like my last one.

You've bought a inaccurate tester. No battery would survive dropping that low.

Makes senseβ€”it’s an Amazon special. We were astonished. I ought to get a Klein multimeter or something else decent and simple.Tool shopping suggestions welcome. Thanks for weighing in.
