Dang, that is crushing to hear. Are you by chance connected through the app to your truck? I wonder if that is part of the equation. There has to be something that is different; not everyone has this issue (though I know not everyone uses the TPMS feature) so there has to be a way to fix it.Nope. Reverted to trip b.
Maybe it loads your profile settings from the phone?? I wish they had documentation on how everything is supposed to work. If it isn't seamless we need more documentation!!I tried it but didn't realize my phone wasn't connected after creating the new primary profile. I just reconnected it and turned off the truck. We'll see if it holds now
I already got that software update as well. Keeping my fingers crossedMaybe it loads your profile settings from the phone?? I wish they had documentation on how everything is supposed to work. If it isn't seamless we need more documentation!!
Still working for me as of this morning (I will update periodically) Hopefully that means if one of you gets it to stick then it will stay as well. Additionally, I don't know if this matters, but I did get the gauge cluster recall (new software) done before trying this.
Well, the time line for me is as such: recall (didn't work) > full reset of infotainment / dash through the option on the infotainment (didn't work) > linking of app / connected services / profile etc. (worked)My truck does not have the 12.3 inch display recall completed. App does have the profile connected to the vehicle.
If that doesn't work, try an infotainment reset, set the TPMS / gages the way you want, then sync / load your profile. I wish I had someone near me who had this issue so I could test / troubleshoot on their truck but offering suggestions is the best I can do.I already got that software update as well. What part of SoCal? I’m in OC.If that doesn't work, try an infotainment reset, set the TPMS / gages the way you want, then sync / load your profile. I wish I had someone near me who had this issue so I could test / troubleshoot on their truck but offering suggestions is the best I can do.
That being said I'll never tell you "but it worked for me I don't know" that is one of the most frustrating things you can hear from a technician.....
edit: I'm not a Toyota tech just some IT guy if anyone is confused
Oh hey, not that far. LA area. Give those steps a try (like the recall update and the reset) and if we really hit a roadblock maybe we can do a support group lol. I'll be busy this / next month with some DIY renovations and an expo but I'm willing to give a try, even if I can't promise anything. I took my truck out on some errands tonight and still working. I'm afraid to mess with my screens now; what I have is what I have since I don't want it reverting lol. I mean I have what I want and probablly don't need the other screens but still a little sucky to live in fear. At least its sticking for me now....What part of SoCal? I’m in OC.

Sorry for having various bits of information come up in bits and pieces but I just remembered that when I sync my phone to the truck it asked for my phone pin. I think if you see that when syncing your phone /profile, you are headed in the right direction.Yeah mine is still not sticking so I'll definitely give that a shot!
