What'd they say?thank the lord. the chirp drives me INSANE. and i just so happen to have an oil change scheduled tomorrow.
could not replicate lmaoWhat'd they say?
Wonder what the failure is if you just let it go for a while.. maybe the clutch implodes and you lose AC.could not replicate lmao
Ah, classic. My surefire way to get it to chirp is to do the key fob auto start after its been sitting overnight. I am curious what all the TSB entails as far as the fix. Doubt its just a ECU update, but would love to be wrong.could not replicate lmao

I would be inclined to believe that but the release date of this tsb is 2/26/26. Optimistically, I'm thinking they released some type of new fix for it. I haven't seen anyone that had the full pdf which i believe would say what the fix procedure is.I don't think there is a fix, unless they've redesigned/remanned the parts.
There's a thread here somewhere of a guy that basically had the entire system rebuilt piece by piece (with new hardware, but same designs, etc) and he still had the chirp.
Unless they've remanned the clutch, somebody here has had it replaced and the issue still persisted. The PDF has been out for a week or so now. It's a compressor clutch change including evacuating and recharging refrigerant. I'm gonna lay low for now and keep an eye on others doing this to see if it's worth the time and hassle to get it done. I don't know why the clutch replacement even needs refrigerant to be messed with. On Gen 3 you could change it without getting into any of that. I would just buy the part and DIY but of course it's a $500+ part.
It's a new part number.Unless they've remanned the clutch, somebody here has had it replaced and the issue still persisted.
Maybe they've updated it though, who knows.
Hopefully that means they've updated and fixed itIt's a new part number.
Thanks for the reply and providing that pdf. Perhaps we should wait until nearing our end of warranty to get that free recharge! The PDF has been out for a week or so now. NHTSA website, put in the vehicle, then go to manufacturer communications and it'll be there. They aren't immediate to upload them there which is why the TSB was known about a few weeks ago but only became available in the PDF recently. Thanks for the reply and providing that pdf. Where do you find these pdfs of the TSBs?
