In case anyone's interested, here's latest heigh measurements after installing Alldogs front springs (already had Dobinsons 821 rear springs) (wheel center to fender edge):

Front: ~21.5"
Rear: ~23.75"

There's some load in the truck (guessing ~850-900 lbs...fully loaded I'm closer to 1100 lbs). It's hard to tell if I'm at the center of the wheel and if my tape measure is actually vertical, so +/- 0.25".
So ~2.25" rake that will probably drop to 1.75-2" when fully loaded.

I also did the ECGS bushing and the Icon reinforcement top plate at the same time.

So far I’m liking the springs. No more hitting the bump stops. I’m also able to carry 600 pounds of salt without sagging now. First pic is just after install. Second is after it settled and bed empty. Third is with 500 pounds of salt.

Great info that helps me. Great looking truck. Do you have any photos with better lighting after the springs settled?

Thanks, Toyota won’t make me a non hybrid Pro with under seat storage and regular front seats so I made my own.

This one in front of my house is after it settled. But I wanted the front a little higher so I put 0.9 inch Trailhunter spacer from Peak Suspension (next to building photo). Caveat, this did take it out of range for the offroad upper control arms so I had to get the TRD ones.

Haha, Thanks. I wanted the non-hybrid for the same reasons. :) So the bottom two photos are with the extra .90" front spacer, right? I may get front and rear but cut a little it of coil off the rear if it's too high. The rear seems to be pretty easy to deal with.

Yes I tried to get the same angle as the springs only photo but couldn’t quite figure it out so I just put both. When you do the rears make sure they transfer all the rubber pieces from the factory spring and loosen and retorque all the suspension links.

@andrewleader Do you use stock shocks with the Dobinsons or did you upgrade? I'm currently running 500lbs in the rear, 700 when my RTT is on, but I'm also installing a C4 bumper, winch, and lightbar up front and having a hard time finding a spring that works with the stock shock. I plan on doing a full suspension in the next year, but need to get the truck to a point it's not sagging in the rear and can handle the bumper/winch up front. Debating ADO F/R but also looking at the icon rear. ANY input is appreciated. Total weight is 175lbs up front, 500lbs rear.

I’ve stuck with the stock TRD shocks (no changes from my original post).

I have 21,000 miles on the truck now, and just got back from off roading in Moab, including going to the Maze District and also Island in the Sky. The suspension is like 90% perfect for street driving, and 75% perfect for rock crawling… I still get a little more side-to-side sway when dropping off bigger obstacles, which I think upgrading the shocks would help with, but I’ll still wait till the stock shocks are older since I don’t off road too much and it’d be a waste of those new shocks.

Here’s my detailed weight info: https://tacotunesday.com/build/exterior/weights#weigh-in-records (I’ve got 180 lbs of additional weight in the front)

Here’s a short vid of the off roading:

Thanks for the info. I couldn't find any indication whether the Dobinson springs would work with the stock springs.

I think most ppl in the thread about Dobinsons rear springs also kept stock shocks! There’s some Dobinsons thread on here.
