Play around with your hand placement of you haven't. It feels like they they intentionally did different intensity in different areas. Between 4 & 8 o'clock on wheel, I find it to be mild/medium heat levels. Same with 11 to 1. But when your hands are right on the nubbed positions around 10&2 it's much hotter as if it's ramped up get through thin gloves or really heat your hands. In that position, I'm often turning it off after a few short minutes because my hands have gotten plenty warm.I’m a big fan of heated steering wheels, but I find the one in my Tacoma to be rather underwhelming. It’s better than nothing, but I also think it would be worthless in truly cold conditions.
