I guess I would have to rethink all that. Thanks for the tip.

it's not just the sliver hose, that's just for air up. there's also an electrical connector for power as well as a blue tube i assume is for air down.

i suppose you could try it but at that point i'd personally just use a portable setup. seems like the worst of both worlds (added complexity & cost, + you still have to lug around the compressor).
I agree with cape_taco, if you are on lease, you are better served with a portable compressor.

Bonus one, I took some pics of the unit from underneath the truck and noticed yet another spare mystery connector up there near the top of the bed....

Any guesses what that could be for? Perhaps for the Trailhunter Scene Lights (do i smell another retrofit coming soon???)?

That mystery connector isn't anything. It's the dust cap cover for your powered connector. It should remain attached to the wiring harness running down.

That connector could be for the prewired aux switch. I believe that’s where mine is on my TrailHunter
Following up this isnt the aux plug. The rear aux plug is near the middle of the bumper. Anyone got other ideas?

FYI this kit is on sale for $540 + free shipping at my local dealer this week for black friday.

25% off stacks with local dealer discount. about $500 off.

It looks like Toyota pulled the complete kit off their website so we can't get it with black friday

Just checking into this today with the site wide deal. The individual parts aa+ab are way more than the previous combined part.

Interestingly many other parts departments are showing PT949-35241 as the replacement for the basic 35240. So now I'm even more confused.

Bummer, really wish we could figure out the right part number. Getting that for $5XX would be a great deal.
