Saw this today:

Not a huge fan of "fear" videos, but it would realllly suck to wake up and find my truck gone, and I wouldn't put it past my neck of the woods. That said --and this is a really stupid reason-- I kinda like where the key rack currently is in the house, right inside the garage door (about 30 feet from the front door) and like it better than the idea that we have some dumb box we chuck our keys in and keep closed when we're home.

They aren't expensive (around 20 bucks on Amazon), just checking the room to see whether y'all bother or not?

Nope, but then again I don't live in the city. As long as your keys aren't hanging next to the door, I'm not sure what the point would be. The FOB continuously transmit a unlock frequency but it's range is limited. Probably would have the same effect just keeping them towards the center of the house.

Just use a club on the wheel to be honest. Anything that makes it slightly harder will prompt the thief to just move onto the next Toyota :cwl:

Wrap it in aluminum foil. My spare is hidden somewhere on/in the vehicle wrapped in foil. Works fine.

If I needed one, I'd move.
What a thought provoking and useful reply! That infinite money glitch must be great. Poor people should just "not be poor", and people with diseases should just choose to not have them! While we're at it, why bother even dying at all? It's obviously a choice we all have. World peace? LOL just stop fighting, duh.

I have a 500k mortgage, but hey, instead of buying a 25$ item on Amazon, I should MOVE MY ENTIRE FAMILY.

Literally same energy as "hey, I have the problem in Windows... anyone seen this error before" and some dipshit replies with "LOL WINDOWS? USE LINUX HAHA MICROSLOP LOL".

We're both in the Bay Area, I'm gonna be honest. If my truck was street parked I'd be using a club on it daily regardless of the key situation.

Cars get stolen off driveways in Palo Alto, neighborhood doesn't really matter at this point.
