Yes ground wire confused me a little too, and the trim ring is for use when you cut slots into your bumper

Sorry, I thought she answered this.Do you have the part number that we would need to order?
On my 25 Pro, the green wire (10amp) is AUX 4. I’m guessing the black wire may be AUX 3. I connected just the green and can manually turn on the reverse lights with my AUX 4 switch. If you look back a page in this forum, you will see another guy who wired it the same way as I did.Sorry, I thought she answered this.
You can add this to the existing Tacoma pig tail for now which will plug in directly to the truck and then our short harness-

It works just like this-

Unless I missed something? The documentation I read on 25's is that the BLACK wire is Aux 1, Green Aux 2, White Aux 3?On my 25 Pro, the green wire (10amp) is AUX 4. Not sure which trims (hybrid maybe) now have a 4th Aux switch.Unless I missed something? The documentation I read on 25's is that the BLACK wire is Aux 1, Green Aux 2, White Aux 3?

I have heard mixed on that. If you can, send a picture of your under the hood pig tail showing the wires and colors coming out of the 5 pin connector. I am working on a new plug in with connectors to be able to easily plug n play and interconnect to accessories...My 25 Pro hybrid has 4 AUX switches. Not sure which models have 4 now.

But see... 3 switches, missing the 4th wire? Unless the 4th is located somewhere else?

Maybe these pics will help. There are 4 AUX switches. In the engine bay, there’s a plug in port to power the front lights (blue sheet). There’s also bypass plug in ports in the engine bay (shown in your picture above) which directs power to the rear plug in port (yellow sheet). And there’s a 3rd plug in port inside the cab somewhere.
I can confirm that the black wire in the rear is AUX 3, that's the one I hooked up to for my reverse lights. It's funny how Toyota isn't very specific on how all these AUX switches work and what wire goes to what AUX switch. Thank goodness for this forum!!On my 25 Pro, the green wire (10amp) is AUX 4.
