Mild Rattle or Ticking Sound Drivers Side Interior.

Looks like resolution was already reached and it was a different rattle - here’s where mine was (clip came undone - probably from power wash)

The air flow would cause this to flap and tap - I secured it and all solved

think this is the same on my truck, how’d you end up securing it?

I have tried everything in this thread to fix the rattle with no luck. It sounds like it’s in the dash somewhere. Driving me crazy

Did you try putting your hand on the dash speaker - or did you check the plastic trim piece inside the wheel well

Yes I have. Here is also what I’ve done:

I fixed the splash guards that were loose, added tape to the rear fold down seat latches, took driver side door panel off and taped all the connectors from moving, I peeled back the driver door weather striping and added padded tape….fml

Sounds like somewhere behind the dash.

Some have reported a loose wire harness inside the side mirror making this noise

Just picked up a new Tacoma 2 days ago. Was curious if anyone has experienced a mild rattle or ticking like noise on the drivers side door or b-pillar area. I cannot figure out what it is or could be but it is in that general area. It’s is not heard during most driving except when going over rougher patches of road or something would could more sharp jarring of the truck rather than something like a speed bump. I cannot tell if it’s outside the door/b pillar area or inside. It sounds like it’s literally like right in your face if I ride in the back side and put my ear close to that area but I can’t seem to put my finger on anything. May have to go to dealer but really didn’t want to. It’s minor but noticeable enough to be mildly annoying.

I had the same rattle and have tried everything to find it and I just found it TODAY! So, the bottom of the seatbelt (where it connects at the bottom of the B and C pillar) has a small plastic covering, take these off! It originally sounded like it was over left shoulder but I finally tapped these and it made the identical sound. Quickly popped all four off and fixed!

The passenger side cab to frame bolt cover-plate causes a rattle on my truck.

Took me over a year to find the source of an interior rattle in my 2025 TRD OR Premium. Apparently there is a series of clips that retain something about the ventilated seats. Sounded like a plastic door stopper banging around in the seat. The clips somehow became broken or dislodged in the passenger seat. By chance, the sound became worse and I was finally able to demonstrate the noise to the dealership just by hitting the seat with my hand.

At one point or another, I thought the noise was the tailgate, the rear sliding window, the rear seat latch, the passenger seat belt. All wrong. Dealer made the repair under warranty.

The interior acoustics of these trucks make it hard to pinpoint minor noises. My family thought I was a crazy person.

TFL guys found a rattle with the tailgate cable. ?‍

My truck has this SO bad. Any movement of the bed causes the eyelets on the tailgate straps to smack the bed. Mine look brand new, and I confirmed they are the same part on 26 and 27 model years. I am debating shrink wrapping the eyelets to insulate them from the bed.
